Today, in accordance with the documents signed by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the awarding ceremonies of the jubilee medal of Turkmenistan «Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna» and the commemorative signs «Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna» were held for particularly distinguished citizens working in various sectors of the country and making a great contribution to the study and widespread popularisation in the world of the creative heritage of the classical poet Magtymguly Fragi, to the education of the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, respect for national values, traditions and customs of our people. 

The ceremonies, which took place in all sectors, were attended by the Chairman of the Mejlis, Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, who warmly congratulated those gathered on the International Day of Neutrality and wished them new successes in their work for the happiness of the people, the prosperity of the Fatherland.

Among those awarded are members of the Mejlis, diplomats representing the interests of the state abroad, creative figures, workers in culture and art, mass media, education, science, healthcare, sports, representatives of youth and public organisations, trade, banking and economics, energy, construction and industrial, agricultural, transport and communications industries, as well as employees of military and law enforcement agencies. 

These events are a clear indication of the special respect in our country for the masters of their craft, who devote all their experience, knowledge and talent to serving the Motherland and are an example for the younger generation.

The participants of the ceremonies accepted the well-deserved awards with a sense of pride. In their speeches, they expressed sincere gratitude to the head of Turkmenistan for the high assessment of their work for the benefit of the people, their contribution to increasing the authority of the Motherland. It was emphasised that they share these awards with all compatriots who are building our happy present and bright future. 

Addressing their best wishes to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, the speakers assured that they will continue to apply all their efforts and experience to implement large-scale reforms initiated by Hero Arkadag and now successfully continued by the head of state, aimed at further strengthening the unity and cohesion of the people, ensuring stability in society, and the prosperity of their beloved Motherland.

It should be noted that the jubilee medal of Turkmenistan «Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna» and the commemorative badges «Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna» were also awarded to foreign citizens for special merits in the study, careful preservation, popularisation and communication to future generations of the creative heritage of the classic poet of Turkmen literature, in strengthening friendship and cooperation between peoples, developing and enriching the cultural ties of Turkmenistan with countries of the world and international organisations, as well as on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Fragi. For the awardees, this was an unforgettable event on the eve of International Neutrality Day. 

Music and songs were played during the ceremonies. The speeches of the masters of art expressed in poetic language the pride of the people for the literary heritage of the great Magtymguly Fragi, for the President of Turkmenistan Arkadagly Hero Serdar. 

Award ceremonies were also held today in the velayats of the country.
