On March 27, 2024, the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan D.Gulmanova accepted credential from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Christopher Alberto Martinez Berroteran.

On behalf of the Esteemed President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the Chairperson of the Mejlis congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to a responsible position and wished him success in his work aimed at strengthening friendly relations developing on a bilateral and multilateral basis, as well as effective interstate dialogue.

During the meeting, the parties noted the importance of the results achieved in the development of cooperation in the trade-economic, cultural - humanitarian spheres, as well as at the parliamentary level.

At the end of the conversation noted their readiness to support intergovernmental cooperation through parliamentary diplomacy, strengthen the legal foundations of these relations, and exchange experience in parliamentary and legislative activities.
