
Turkmen Musicians take part in Tsinandali Festival of Classic Music
On 4 September 2025, the 7th Tsinandali Festival of Classical Music was solemnly opened in Georgia, with the participation of musicians from the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva.
The Festival brought together outstanding musicians and true connoisseurs of classical music from around the world, establishing itself as a premier platform for intercultural dialogue and artistic exchange.
On 9 September, as part of the festival, musical works by the world-renowned Turkmen composer Nury Halmammedov will be performed. On 13 September, the festival will offer audience a special day dedicated to the national music of Turkmenistan.
Turkmen musicians are representing Turkmenistan in the Pan-Caucasian Youth Orchestra, the heart of the festival, which also unites young musicians from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Turkiye, and Ukraine.
The Festival offers a unique opportunity for young performers not only to learn from renowned masters, but also to improve their skills, enrich their artistic experience, and realize their potential.
Within the framework of the Festival, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Georgia D.Seyitmammedov had meetings with Minister of Culture T. Rukhadze, the Festival’s Director General D.Sakvarelidze and representatives of its Organizing Committee. He expressed his confidence that the festival will mark another significant step in strengthening bilateral ties between our countries, opening new opportunities for further cooperation in the humanitarian, educational, and cultural spheres.
The Tsinandali Festival will run until 14 September 2025.
