President Serdar Berdimuhamedov conducted via the digital system a working meeting with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahalliyev, who supervises the agroindustrial complex, and the hyakims of the velayats. The agenda included issues of the development of the agricultural complex and the progress of work carried out in the regions of the country.

The first floor was given to Ahal Velayat Hyakim R. Hojaguliyev, who reported on the state of affairs in the fields of the region.

Currently, the cotton harvest is being gathered, and payments are being made to producers in a timely manner. The picked raw material is sent for processing to ginneries.

At the same time, the final stage of wheat sowing continues in the velayat. In sown areas, measures are being taken to ensure timely vegetation irrigation and germination.

The necessary work is being carried out in the velayat for the organised conduct of a nationwide tree-planting campaign.

Information was also provided on the pace of the construction of social and industrial facilities within the framework of the Programme of the Socioeconomic Development of the Country for 2022–2028 and the National Rural Programme, the commissioning of which is planned for the current year.

After listening to the report, the President of Turkmenistan noted the importance of carrying out seasonal agricultural work in accordance with agrotechnical standards. The Head of Turkmenistan instructed the Hyakim to keep under strict control the steps taken to increase the pace of cotton harvesting and to complete the sowing of wheat within the established agrotechnical terms.

At the same time, instructions were given to ensure the high quality of the construction of social and industrial facilities within the framework of the the Programme of the Socioeconomic Development of the Country and the National Rural Programme, scheduled for commissioning by the end of the current year.

Then Balkan Velayat Hyakim H. Ashyrmyradov reported on the state of affairs in the western region of the country.

The harvesting of grown cotton continues in the velayat. Payments are being made to producers for the delivered raw material, and the processing of the harvested crop at ginneries is being carried out.

The final stage of wheat sowing is also underway in the agricultural lands. Vegetative irrigation is being carried out in sown fields to obtain even seedlings.

Appropriate preparations are being made for a nationwide tree planting campaign in the velayat.

Along with this, information was provided on the pace of the construction of social and industrial facilities within the framework of the National Programme of the President of Turkmenistan for the transformation of social and living conditions of the population of villages, settlements, etrap towns and etrap centres for the period until 2028, scheduled for commissioning this year.

Summarising the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the importance of carrying out seasonal agricultural work at the proper level and in time, instructing the Hyakim to ensure an increase in the pace of the cotton harvest and the completion of the sowing of winter grains within the agrotechnical time frame.

The President of Turkmenistan also ordered to keep under strict control the construction of social and industrial facilities planned for commissioning this year within the framework of the National Rural Programme and to ensure an appropriate level of the organisation of the forthcoming opening ceremonies of those new buildings in the near future.

Then, at the working meeting via the digital system, Dashoguz Velayat Hyakim S. Soltanmyradov made a report on the progress of agricultural campaigns.

In the velayat, in the fields sown with wheat, the necessary work is being carried out to obtain even seedlings. Rice is also being harvested in the shortest possible time and without loss.

In addition, the Hyakim reported on measures taken to organise the nationwide tree-planting campaign and on the progress of construction of various facilities planned for commissioning this year within the framework of the country’s socioeconomic development programme.

After hearing the report, the President noted the importance of high-quality seasonal agricultural work, instructing the Hyakim to keep under strict control the issues of accelerating the pace of cotton harvesting, caring for wheat seedlings in accordance with agricultural technology standards and harvesting rice without loss.

The President of Turkmenistan ordered to ensure the high quality of the construction of social and industrial facilities being built within the framework of the Programme of the Socioeconomic Development of the Country for 2022–2028 and the National Rural Programme, scheduled for commissioning this year.

Then Lebap Velayat Hyakim Sh. Amangeldiyev reported on the progress of seasonal field work in the region.

Currently, appropriate measures are being implemented to harvest grown cotton without loss and timely payments to agricultural producers. The harvest gathered is being delivered to cotton ginning enterprises, where it is being processed.

At the same time, sowing of wheat is at the final stage, all necessary equipment is fully being involved, and where sowing has already been completed, watering is being carried out to obtain seedlings.

The pace of work in the rice fields is also high. Everything necessary is being done to harvest the grown crop as soon as possible, to hand it over to the state and to ensure its proper storage.

After listening to the report, the Head of Turkmenistan emphasised the importance of completing all work quickly and efficiently, which is a requirement of the time. In this regard, the Hyakim was instructed to ensure control over all ongoing agricultural activities. In particular, all the grown cotton must be harvested to the last boll, the sowing of wheat must be completed within the agrotechnical time frame, and the harvesting of rice must be carried out in an organised manner.

The Head of the Turkmen state also ordered to pay special attention to the quality of construction work at the facilities being built within the framework of the Programme of the President of Turkmenistan of the Socioeconomic Development of the Country for 2022–2028, which should be opened this year.

Next, Mary Velayat Hyakim B. Orazov reported on the progress of seasonal field campaigns in the region.

It was noted that the necessary work was being carried out in the velayat to pick grown cotton without loss and to deliver it to collection points and then to cotton ginning enterprises. Payments to tenants are being made immediately.

At the same time, the harvesting of grown sugar beets is underway, and urgent measures are being taken for timely transportation and processing of the crop.

The Hyakim reported on preparations for the nationwide campaign to plant trees in order to transform the region into a blooming oasis and on the state of affairs at the construction sites of various facilities within the framework of the National Rural Programme, the commissioning of which is scheduled for the current year.

The head of the velayat administration, on behalf of its residents, expressed gratitude to the Head of the Turkmen state for the blessing to open a reconstructed and equipped with the latest technologies hospital for 301 patients in the Bayramaly etrap, wishing Arkadagly Hero Serdar and Hero-Arkadag strong health and every success in their state activities.

After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the organised conduct of the seasonal agricultural campaigns was the most important requirement of the time, giving the Hyakim a number of specific instructions, including keeping under control the progress of the cotton harvest, the completion of the sowing of wheat within agrotechnical terms and care for the crops in the sown fields according to agricultural technology standards. The Head of Turkmenistan also ordered to ensure the coordinated work of all structures involved in harvesting sugar beets.

Then the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahalliyev, supervising agricultural issues, reported on the state of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the regions of the country.

The sowing of wheat in the regions of the country is at the final stage, the fields are being watered for the emergence of seedlings, and they are being manured with mineral fertilisers.

At the same time, much attention is being paid to the progress of the cotton harvesting in the shortest possible time and without losses and the delivery of the harvest to receiving points, and then to ginneries. Payments to producers are being carried out in a timely manner.

The Deputy Prime Minister also reported rice harvesting in the Dashoguz and Lebap velayats and sugar beet harvesting in the Mary velayat continued.

Upon listening to the report, the President of Turkmenistan noted the importance of carrying out seasonal field work in accordance with agricultural technology standards, in a high-quality and organised manner. This is the requirement of today. The Deputy Prime Minister was instructed to keep all this work under strict control.

Addressing the participants of the working meeting, the Head of Turkmenistan stressed a responsible period continued in agriculture. Therefore, all work should be treated responsibly and performed efficiently, observing the norms and deadlines of agricultural technology.

The Head of the Turkmen state also instructed all velayats to prepare at the proper level for the forthcoming landscaping campaign.
