The President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree «On pardoning convicted persons in honour of the sacred Gadyr gijesi»

Guided by the principles of mercy and humanism bequeathed to us by our great ancestors, in order to further strengthen the unity and cohesion of the Turkmen society and each family, and also on the occasion of the sacred Gadyr Gijesi, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree «On pardoning convicted persons in honour of the sacred Gadyr Gijesi», releasing those pardoned from further serving the main sentence in the form of imprisonment.

It is prescribed to hold a nationwide tree planting campaign in the country on the 22nd of March, 2025

In order to transform our country into a blooming garden in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, create forest zones and properly care for planted tree seedlings, as well as implement the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan №1270 of February 7, 2025 «On planting trees in Turkmenistan in 2025», the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, ordering to hold a nationwide tree planting campaign in the country on the 22nd of March, 2025.

The document also instructs ministries, industry departments, hakimliks of velayats and the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag to ensure that this nationwide campaign is held at a high organisational level.

Thanks to the wise initiatives, tireless efforts and unlimited support of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Esteemed Arkadag, large-scale work is being carried out in the humanitarian field in Turkmenistan. In this direction, an effective system for the protection of motherhood and childhood has been created, state programs to ensure the harmonious development and strengthening of the health of the younger generation are being successfully implemented.

Guided by these noble principles, in order to further glorify in the International Year of Peace and Trust the humanitarian activities carried out by the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the humanitarian events held in our country, to promote in the world community the humanitarian activities and work on the protection of motherhood and childhood carried out by Turkmenistan during this significant year, as well as to continue work on the development and strengthening of fruitful cooperation in this direction, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution. In accordance with the document, the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Arkadag city administration, have been instructed to ensure that the International Conference «Year of Peace and Trust: Development of International Activities for the Sake of Children» is held at a high level and in an organised manner on the 29th of March, 2025 in the city of Arkadag.
