The Ministry of Finance and Economy has been ordered to prepare a draft State Budget for 2025

In order to prepare the draft State Budget of Turkmenistan for 2025, the main directions of socio-economic development of Turkmenistan and the Investment Program of Turkmenistan in a timely manner, guided by the «Program of the President of Turkmenistan for socio-economic development of the country in 2022-2028» in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, in accordance with the Budget Code, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution instructing the Ministry of Finance and Economy to:

organize work on preparing the draft State Budget of Turkmenistan for 2025, the main directions of socio-economic development of Turkmenistan and the Investment Program of Turkmenistan and submit them to the Cabinet of Ministers by the 1st of November, 2024;

disseminate calculation forms and guidelines for drawing up the above-mentioned projects to the ministries, industry departments, hakimliks of the velayats, the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag by the 5th of June, 2024;

create a working group of specialists and organize its effective work to prepare the above-mentioned projects.

The head of state ordered to ensure the production of a high rice harvest

In order to further reform the country's agricultural sector in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, strengthen food security by increasing the volume of agricultural products produced, and encourage farmers to produce high rice yields, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution instructing the Ministry of Agriculture, the State Association «Türkmengallaönümleri», the hakimliks of the Dashoguz and Lebap velayats to ensure the production of a high rice yield in the relevant etraps of these velayats.

Also, in accordance with the document, starting with the 2024 harvest, the state purchase price for rice has been increased.
